Product search:
The product search, easily recognisable by the magnifying glass symbol, shows all matching tools and information immediately after entering a keyword or article number. Just like on the KNIPEX website - only even better and optimised for the smartphone.
Augmented Reality:
For many products, the KNIPEX app offers the latest forms of presentation, keyword "Augmented Reality". The "View in AR" button appears on the detail pages of our most important tools. After just one tap of the finger, the tools can be virtually placed on your own workbench with the mobile phone camera switched on, rotated, zoomed in and thus viewed in detail from all sides.
Wishlist:
The "Wishlist" works in a similar way to, for example, the wish lists available in some webshops: With a tap of a finger on the heart symbol, all personally important tools can be saved in the user account - and later found again at any time, viewed and shown to the boss or a specialist dealer.
Product finder:
Product finder KNIPEXplorer, the reliable guide to the perfect tool
A completely new concept is hidden behind the "product finders", which appear as a kind of main menu directly after starting the app. How do they work? Like a question and answer game: After entering a few framework data, the KNIPEX app immediately shows the tools that are optimally suited to the task. Do-it-yourselfer or professional? Which material is to be processed? Which sizes? Are there task-specific details? The tool finder "crimping pliers", for example, shows an overview of the crimping tools suitable for the specific application after these details have been entered.
Initially, there are tool finders for pipe cutters and crimping pliers. In the future, there will also be product finders for other types of tools.
