How does the ratchet mechanism work?
The integrated, releasable ratchet lock ensures the pliers only open once optimal crimping pressure is reached – for consistent, high-quality crimps.
Is calibration required before first use?
No, the tool is factory-calibrated and ready to use. Regular recalibration is recommended for long-term accuracy.
Can the MultiCrimp® PV be expanded for other connectors?
Yes, additional crimping dies can be added. Find the full range of compatible dies on our website.
KNIPEX EvoStrip

What are the stripping capacities?
The EvoStrip is suitable for cable cross-sections from 0.03 to 10 mm². It features a length stop for stripping from 5 to 22 mm, or up to 25 mm without the stop. It also includes a cutter for copper and aluminium cables (up to 10 mm² fine-stranded / 6 mm² solid).

How does the DPT50 differ from the DP50?
Both are designed for PVC, PP, and PE pipes with adjustable cutting diameters of 32, 40, and 50 mm. The key difference is wall thickness:
